The Cubiks Multi-Rater Assessment (MRA) is a highly flexible online instrument that provides employers with a structured framework to identify the strengths and development needs of their employees.
Delivered via the Cubiks Online platform, the Cubiks Multi-Rater Assessment comprises two innovative formats:
MRA-S (Scale)
Adopting a conventional (Likert) scale approach, MRA-S allows reviewers to score individuals against a range of different competencies which are established at the design stage of the project. At the end of the assessment, participants are able to see how they have been scored on each competency by the different rater groups. The MRA-S option allows organisations to benchmark individuals across teams, divisions or the organisation as a whole.
By providing information on a broad range of competencies, MRA-S assessments provide individuals with a rounded view of how they are perceived by others and a wealth of information to use for development and coaching purposes. This format also makes it easy for managers to draw comparisions between individuals for benchmarking or performance management purposes.
MRA-I (Ipsative)
MRA-I is a new type of Multi-Rater Assessment that takes an ipsative (forced-choice) form. The MRA-I format enables organisations to conduct short, focused MRA assessments that rank or order the participant’s key strengths and priority development needs.
Adopting user-friendly ‘drag and drop’ technology, MRA-I assessments are quicker to complete and interpret than conventional MRA assessments and are ideal for use in situations when the time availability of the participants and reviewer groups is likely to be limited. By rank ordering the strengths and development needs of individuals, these assessments also enable participants to quickly focus on their development priorities.
Tailored to address your requirement
The MRA instrument is a highly sophisticated tool that can be delivered either in a standard format utilising the full content of the Cubiks Competency Framework, or rapidly tailored to address unique client requirements. In all cases, the system allows organisations to:
- Select the competencies that are specific to their organisation or a particular role, incorporating their own competency framework if required
- Set target scores for the most important and relevant competencies under review (MRA-S only)
- Quickly invite participants to complete online questionnaires via email and monitor their progress via a user-friendly administration tool
- Generate a range of highly informative reports that employers and participants can use as the basis for development planning
- Extend their corporate branding across all areas of the assessment to provide users and participants with a consistent experience
Reports for every occassion
The MRA reports that are available include:
- Individual Feedback Reports that include new ‘Leveraging Tips’ and ‘Development Highlights’ sections. These tips provide guidance to help individuals maximise their strengths and tackle priority development areas.
- Personal Development Guides which contain development tips and suggestions for further reading
- Group Reports for MRA-S which can be developed by Cubiks consultants as part of our consultancy service
Designed to address the needs of international organisations, the MRA instrument is available for use in multiple languages. Cubiks can also deliver a range of additional consultancy services to support staff development initiatives.
