Delivering feedback to individuals following an assessment process, whether for selection or development purposes, can be challenging. This is particularly the case if the situation is sensitive or if the individual providing the feedback does not have a great deal of experience in how to plan and manage feedback sessions. Cubiks can support clients on all aspects of feedback delivery.
Typically, our services fall into two key categories:
- Feedback as a service: Our consultants manage the feedback on behalf of the client, very often following an Assessment or Development Centre, or following the completion of an assessment for selection or development purposes using one of our instruments such as our 360 degree feedback tool (MRA) or our PAPI personality assessment. In all instances, our consultants seek to engage the participant by asking them to reflect on the information that is being shared with them, and provide them with useful development pointers that they can use as the foundation for future development planning.
- Feedback Training: As well as delivering feedback on behalf of clients, we can also train client teams in the best practice principles of feedback delivery. During these training sessions, our consultants transfer their knowledge to HR professionals, recruiters, development specialists and line managers and provide them with a number of opportunities to practice delivering feedback using the techniques covered during the session. The aim is always to have the participants leave the training session feeling confident that they can accurately interpret the data provided by our assessment instruments and independently deliver feedback for colleagues and candidates.
